This package can be done as an add on to another trip or on its own! After arriving in Anchorage and spending one night, you will take the glass dome train to the quaint town of Talkeetna. Here you will have the unforgettable opportunity to see Denali National Park from the air. The next day you will hop back on the train and make your way to Denali where you will spend two nights. After getting off the train you will be picked up for a leisurely nature walk in Denali with friendly and knowledgeable guides. The following day you will go deeper into the park on a wildlife bus tour. To finish off this tour, you will make your way to Fairbanks for one night and the Riverboat tour that will bring you to an Athabasca village. If this is the end of your trip we can arrange flights to your home for an additional cost.

Begin your journey in Anchorage where you’ll stay in a downtown hotel for the night. Next, depart on the Alaska Railroad to Denali, home of Alaska’s tallest mountain. While staying for two nights at the Denali National Park entrance, you will get to enjoy a wilderness survival tour and zipline adventure! Next, head directly to Seward from Denali via motor coach. In Seward take a Kenai Fjords National Park tour to see beautiful glaciers, birds, sea lions, otters, and more! After your Fjords tour, you’ll adventure on the train to Girdwood and overnight at Alyeska, Alaska's premier ski and summer resort area. The next day will include a tour of the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, the glacier discovery train, and mellow rafting up close and personal to picturesque icebergs! The tour will end with a motor coach transfer to your hotel in Anchorage. Begin your Alaska vacation with a flight from Seattle, Washington to Sitka, where you will enjoy two nights in downtown Sitka. The following day you'll set off on a wildlife tour by boat and a land tour highlighting Fortress of the Bears and Sitka Raptor Center. Then it’s off to Alaska's capital city, Juneau, where you'll spend two nights. While in Juneau you'll have the incredible opportunity to visit Fortress of the Bears, having an opportunity to observe brown bears in their natural habitat. Next you are off to Anchorage by jet for two nights. Your full day trip with knowledgeable, local, and friendly guides will take you to Matanuska Glacier where you will get to walk on the amazing blue ice of a massive glacier. The following day you will be boarding the Alaska Railroad with Gold Star dome seating for the scenic ride to Denali. Breakfast and Lunch are served onboard. Watch for sightings of Denali on the way! After a beautiful day on the train you will have the chance to stretch your legs and get acquainted with the front country of Denali National Park on a 3 hour naturalist walking tour. The next day will take you deeper into the park on the Tundra Wilderness Tour. Continue north on the Alaska Railroad to Fairbanks for two nights. Begin your Alaska adventure with a flight from Seattle, Washington to Sitka, where you'll enjoy two nights right downtown. The following day you'll set off on a wildlife tour through Sitka Sound, and a land tour featuring Fortress of the Bears and the Sitka Raptor Center. While on the tour you will have the opportunity to view humpback whales, seals, sea lions and other various marine life. The next day travel to Alaska's Capital City, Juneau, where you'll stay for two nights. While in Juneau you will enjoy a floatplane and lodge feast on your first night, with a canoe paddle and hike at Mendenhall Glacier on the following day. Fly South to Petersburg, Alaska’s “Little Norway” where you will stay in a downtown hotel before heading out to see the southern most tidewater glacier in the Northern Hemisphere. Kickoff your exciting adventures into the “Last Frontier” on the Alaska Ferry from Bellingham, WA to Wrangell on a two day cruise up the Inside Passage. Wrangell is known as the "gateway to the Sitkine River" and is also the jumping off point to visit Anan Bear Observatory. Next you will spend three nights in Petersburg, Alaska’s very own “Little Norway." From Petersburg you will explore Fredrick Sound while scanning the waters for humpback whales and perhaps other marine life like orcas, porpoise, sea lions, and seals will make an appearance. You will also get to visit North America's southernmost tidewater glacier. You will travel by plane to the quaint and scenic town of Haines where you will take a mellow rafting trip through the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve. Your trip will end by traveling down the Upper Lynn Canal by ferry to Alaska's capital city - Juneau. Nome - best known today as the finish line for the 1,049-mile Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. The race begins the first Saturday in March in Anchorage, and the first dog teams begin arriving in Nome as soon as eight days later. Nome's Iditarod Festival begins a week after the start and continues as all of the mushers make their way in. The finish line of the Iditarod is located on Front Street. You will be there cheering as they make their way to the burled arch in its ceremonial spot over the road. Come experience the "Mardi Gras of the North" for yourself!
