West Coast Tour
June 5-18, 2010

• Begins in San Francisco: Arrive Saturday, June 5 by 6:00 p.m. from your host city.
• Ends in Reno: Fly home on Friday, June 18, after 9:00 a.m. back to your host city or home country.

The Tour Route

• You arrive on your own in San Francisco, California on Saturday for the start of our trip.
• Have three (3) fun filled days of Fisherman's Wharf, Alcatraz Island, China Town, The Hard Rock Cafe, Golden Gate Bridge, and and an optional visit to The California Academy of Sciences.
• We continue down the coast to Morro Bay, for a Sea Kayaking Trip, and Santa Barbara.
• We'll travel to Los Angeles and visit Disneyland, Universal Studios Hollywood, and Huntington Beach for swimming, surfing, volleyball, etc.
• We'll visit Las Vegas, Nevada for the roller coaster at the New York, NY Hotel.
• We'll visit Nevada's "Valley of Fire" State Park, Mammoth Lakes and a Hot Springs, then travel to Lake Tahoe for a late afternoon sailboat ride.
• Finally, we'll arrive in Reno, Nevada for a visit to Virginia City and a farewell party or optional Reno Rodeo!

Plan to Arrive in San Francisco by 6 pm on Saturday, June 5. You will be able to depart Reno, Nevada, on Friday, June 18 about 9:30 am. Itinerary subject to change due due to unforseen circumstances.

Transportation

We will be traveling in a modern "full-view" air-conditioned motor coach.

Accommodations

We'll stay in first class hotels, motels and resorts, four students to a room in two beds.

Meals

Many of the meals are INCLUDED: Approximately 12 BREAKFASTS, 6 LUNCHES, AND, 8 DINNERS. We'll eat out at great restaurants, some internationally famous!

Cost

The total cost of the tour is $1,550 US Dollars. This will include the meals,lodging, excursions and admissions to Disneyland, Universal Studios, etc. Also included is our farewell get-together!

Forms needed

Besides the registration form you'll need the Rules Form the Medical Release Form and two of your business cards. You will NOT be confirmed on the tour until all these items are received by the tour operator.

Not Included

Items of a personal nature like film, some meals, spending money, transportation to San Francisco and return from Reno back home. Call us for special airfare discounts from your host city.

Limits of Responsibility

Viking Travel, Inc., Rotary International, Rotary District 5010 and all other Rotary Districts and their officers/trip chairpersons in arranging travel accommodations or in rendering other services in connection therewith, do so as agents of the individual desiring such travel accommodations upon the express condition and agreement that it shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, irregularity, or expense arising from the use of any travel facilities, accommodations, or services provided in connection with such individual’s travel plan, nor any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay irregularity, or expense arising from strikes, war, weather, quarantines, sickness, government restrictions, or from any act or omission of any individual firm or corporation furnishing transportation, sightseeing, hotel accommodations, or any services in connection with such travel plan, or any other cause beyond its own control. The right is reserved to amend the advertised itinerary whenever advisable. Viking Travel, Inc. Rotary International, Rotary District 5010 and all other Rotary Districts and their officers/trip chairpersons are not responsible for refunds, which might be due tour members from transportation companies, and for unused travel facilities, accommodations, and service. All such claims for refunds must be made by the individual for whom the travel plan is prepared in accordance with the rules and regulations of such transportation companies or company, firm or corporation furnishing such travel, facility, accommodation, or service. Baggage and articles carried by individual during the tour are "at own risk". All costs, rates, tariffs, and other charges are subject to adjustment at any time without prior notice. The passage contract in use by the bus company concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the purchaser of these tours and/or passenger. The acceptance of any travel plan or other service by any individual shall deem to constitute an acceptance of this limitation or responsibility.
