Looking for a shorter trip? Or a chance to explore the different ports along the way? You can disembark at any destination, take as long as you would like to explore, then board the ship again and continue the journey at your own pace. Disembarking at either Skagway or Haines gives you access to Canada's Yukon Territory, and Alaska’s Alcan Highway (aka Alaska Highway). Loading and unloading is simple-just drive on and off the ship. Alaskan ferries take walk-on passengers, cars, and RV's up to 60' feet long on most ships. You can even bring the family pet!

Roomy comfortable cabins are available for rent, or camping areas are available for those who choose to camp on board. You will find restaurants, cafeterias, cocktail lounges, theatre areas, and play rooms available on all ships.

Alaska Ferry Printed Schedules

Alaska Ferry Fares:

Fares for passengers, cabins/staterooms and vehicles are all figured separately and based on one-way travel.

You can check the individual fares on our calculator to determine your approximate cost. Vehicle fares do not include a driver/passenger fare.

For example, if there are two people traveling in your party, you are bringing a car on board, and you would like one cabin, you should add:

2 passenger fares + 1 vehicle fare + 1 cabin fare
